It's only semi autobiographical

Well, I was completely destroyed through alcohol by the combined Bath Lacrosse team. Being the only fresher on their little pub visit meant that everyone else was allowed to impose drinking fines on me. Within minutes of getting on the bus I had already accumulated fines for; hesitating before sitting, sitting in the wrong sear, moving seats, sitting in another wrong seat, about a dozen 'cheeky fresher' fines, and several for calling one team member a 'scummer' constantly.

I remember little else about that night.

    My friends, however tell stories....

Now I'm tired, and I'm going to bed.

Had a friend stay over yesterday, just seen her off on the bus.

We met over a year ago on holiday, it was great to get to see her again, Amazing if you will...

Had a good time out on the town in Bath, went to Babylon, expensive, and it had a rather irritatimg MC who ruined nearly every song. Oh, and before that we had to face a rude and xenophobic bar bitch in the Litten Tree.

Anyway... I managed to spend £35 that night on drinks. Damn. I'm thinking I may have been too generous with respect to buying people drinks that night.

Then we all came back to the block, and retired to our rooms, perchance to sleep. Well, actualy, John's room, to watch crappy animations on the internet. Then I returned to bed with grace. By my guess, I got aproximately 2 hours sleep, what with one thing or another.

I was then (literaly) kicked out of bed, and took my graceful friend to the bus station.

Now I have to do maths, NO dammit! I am putting my foot down and not working.

I woke up this morning, at 8.00, plenty of time to het to my 9.15 lecture. I began to cough, at 8.30 I stopped, just long enough to get dressed and eat some breakfast. After this I continued, untill now.

Needless to say, I missed my Tutorial, dammit.

So much for making a good first impression.

Ok, it's boring, but I'm pissed off about it.

Not I'm ill, and I'm going to bed.

Ok, you will have to travel back in time with me to last Friday, as I begin a few choice pickings of the past few weeks, starting with the saga of the drunken Legit.

Nice lad is our Legit, quiet, well mannered, etc.

until he relaxes, either through alcohol or being around good friends, then his other side shows through.

On Friday, he got wrecked, beer, whiskey, tea, he drank everything. Stumbling around the house, he managed to do, amongst other things, the following: He smashed several glasses (well, at least 2) by sweeping the table with his guitar during a particularly emotional rendition of a Guns 'n Roses song. At the end of this he also hit Chudson with the guitar. Very classy. He also threw Chudson's drink all over him, and was generally abusive.

    I lost count of the number of times he said the word "Wanker." There was a pattern to it, he would get really angry and violent, then suddenly, would say;

"...But.... Cotswold 3 man..." Offer his hand, shake, then as soon as his finger tips left the other person's "...WANKER, you fucking WANKER"

He scared away a few visitors that night. Not to mention our own resident Mushroom was just a little scared by this personality change.

The next morning we left for home. Have you ever seen someone throw up on a bus, into his (water proof) coat, clutched over his face tightly? No? Well, here's a little experiment you can try. Go to the nearest tap, put your hand over it tightly, and turn it on to full power. See what happens if you don't have quite enough pressure? That's what happens.

But the train ride home is another story, and it's getting late, and I still have my beer and wine to finish.

Now I'm tired, and I'm getting quietly drunk.

Well, I achieved something yesterday! Muse was most put out about my last post, mistakenly believing that I had insulted her degree. For clarification, Degrees in Business Administration are known as DBAs, i.e. Do Bugger All. The following arts subjects are not mickey mouse in any way, History, Law, English, etc.

    Sports science is.

    Hope I cleared that up.

    In othe news, my Irish friend was telling me today, that her illness was making her feel so bad, she realy did not feel like smoking another fag. Now I thought that this was a good thing, untill she followed it up with;

"But I'm making myself smoke them, to keep my Nicotine levels up..."

    What. The. Hell. ?

Each to their own I guess, I'll never understand women or cigarette smokers, and since I never have been, or will be, either, I can not make any judgements.

    What?

Now I'm tired, I'm going to bed.

At last! I have ResNet, and can now keep up my blogs from my room on campus.

Even more amazingly, I didn't drink today, well technicaly yesterday, since it's about 1.00AM right now. A proper sensible day, well aside from staying up untill whatever hour I do. Loads of maths lectures of course, but as I tell my friends doing 'arts' subjects, or DBA's (Do Bugger All,) at least I'm doing a real subject.

It does kind of irritate me that I'm doing a 24 hour week of lectures, and 20 hours private study, basicaly a 40 hour week, yet at the end of it, I come out with the same qualifications as some english student, who does 2 hours of lectures a day, and has wednesdays off to read. Quite frankly, if they are studyinf english at degree level, they should be able to read a book in a matter of hours, and often can, yet they have days to do it in.

Well, I guess I just have to hope that in four years, employers will be wise to the way students study, and will recognise the effort I put in.

Not that I'm bitter, or think I'm better than them.

    I'm just saying that's all.

It's not like maths is 'harder,' just different, right?

    Ahem.

Look, the site is called "Superiority Complex" ok? Read into it.

Now I'm tired, and I'm going to find the others.

Bloody hell. My 'sensible night'involved having one quiet pint, before heading over to Congrye 1, and playing pontoon.

    Vodka pontoon.

Go bust, take a shot; get the lowest score, take a shot; stick under 16, take a double penalty shot; over 30, double pentaly shot. I've said it once and I'll say it again, bloody hell. I lost rather badly for a while, forgot the rules, lost even more badly, got wrecked, and stumbled around for a while.

    After we finished the vodka, (and the tequila, and the lemon juice....) we headed off to the bar, where I had a quick pint, and wandered down to the loos. After making use of the facilities, in the normal fashion I might add, I was asked to leave. As I recall the conversation was something like this;

    "Are you off mate?"
    "Pardon?"
    "You are off mate."
    "I am."
    "Yes, you are"
    "Ahhhhh..."
    "Yes."
"Ok, I'm just gonna tell my mates though..."

And so I did, then left. Couldn't get into the house, so called one of my mates, who let me in, and invited me to eat, uhm, some form of food which never transpired.

Ended up in the kitchen with three of the guys, well girls and guys, but guys means both sexes, equality and all that stuff. Anyway, I slipped off to bed, but for some undefinable reason came back to be sick in the sink. I seem to recall being hit a lot by the people in there too.

Ah well, I'm all better now, and I don't think I did anyting else embarasing... I hope...

Now I'm drunk, I'm going to bed.

Well, still no joy on the internet front, but I'm back at home for the weekend now, picking up a few bits and pieces I left behind. (Damn, I almost wrote 'bits and bobs' there, I must be ill...)

Still liking everyone, and I've told everyone about the site, so I might write about a few of them personaly later... if they dont kill me first.

Sorry I am making it all so short at the moment, I promise I'll do better!

Now I'm tired, and I'm going to my bed.

Me and Legit bought a bottle of scotch today, tenner between us, and a very cheap night on the piss. Got a bit hammered, but all was good. I realy should have a sensible night tomorow.

Now I'm pissed and I'm going to sleep.

Well, I made it to uni! I'm in a fantastic room, and my "house" (Cotswold 3!) is filled with great people, I haven't met anyone I don't like! I have also had the good fortune to end up in the same complex as my two friends from college, and in the same house group as one of them.

Freshers week is great, having loads of fun, andI have some great stories to tell, some of which will appear over the next few days.

As of now I'm in the university library, because my "RESNET" account has been canceled due to the discovery of a virus on my system. I was pretty cavalier signing up for the account because I'd had the blaster worm, and got rid of it, but it turns out I had another version, so I'm now lumbered with a £20 fine and huge ammounts of difficulty getting back on line. Joy.

Now I'm tired, and I'm low on funds.
